Powered paragliding or paramotoring is a form of ultralight aviation, that combines the characteristics of paragliding with the autonomy and long range of motorized flight.
Tandem paramotoring is accessible to anyone, without age or physical training restrictions.
The simplest of all powered aircraft, the paramotor consists of a small motor driving a propeller, worn like a backpack under a paraglider wing, that allows the pilot to fly just as easily at thousands of meters altitude, as well just a few meters above ground. The powered paraglider may be foot-launched or have a trike mounted.
